Injuries appropriate for orthopedic walk-in appointments include:

- Sprains, strains, muscle pain
- Back pain
- Sports related injuries
- Acute joint pain or swelling without associated injury
Seek emergency care or call 911 for the following injuries:
- Open fractures (break in the skin)
- Complete amputations
- Facial/head trauma
- Chest and abdominal injuries/pain
- All other life-threatening injuries
